Ranked fourth most popular Macau for international visitors in 2021, the value of the Lai Chi Bowl shipyard area is mainly reflected in the shipbuilding craftsmanship of the mid to late twentieth century, the life vein and village form of the Lai Chi Bowl village formed due to the shipbuilding industry, and the landscape vein of the entire area. The project is based on the principle of keeping the old and taking the new and the existing building conditions for renovation, using the building form to guide the natural ventilation inside the building (spiral form) and increase the light.
