Panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and 2 large ponds inspired the architects to design a reflexive set of frames. Framing exterior views from the inside and latent interior volumes as viewed from the outside. A simple parti places the primary program in a horizontal glass volume cantilevered over two smaller inset volumes. To reach house, one ascends stone planes that culminates in climactic views of the ocean framed by the void of an open-air passage through the mass of the house. A white plaster spiral stair corkscrews up inside a glass and steel frame allowing views in every direction.
