Banyan trees carry the memory of Cantonese people. With respect to the site, the project retains 25 large existing banyan trees, which creates an amazing scene where architecture and trees interweave. The building is thoughtfully organized to play with the thick tree trunks and beautiful tree canopies, creating an exquisite place to break away from the urban hustle and bustle and enjoy inner peace. By incorporating the existing old banyan trees, the project aims to create a building that allows for the integration of trees, scenes and people, to retain the city’s memories.
