With the intention of creating a floating habitable volume wrapped by the surrounding foliage; refuge from parallel constructions; a concrete/steel/wood amalgam emerges embracing the large ash tree, engine of the project. Imagined as a continuous discovery, the journey begins through a path of exuberant vegetation dissolving the presence of a series of inclined columns that support the seemingly weightless volumes. Concrete, wood and steel configure interior and exterior spaces materializing the subtle frontier which delineates this buoyant retreat.
