Shenzhen Houhai Central River Park

Without altering its original flood drainage function of the river, the project has undertaken landscape optimization and multi-functional upgrades of the previously monotonous waterfront space. Having reorganized diverse circulation systems along the riverbanks, the design team arranges a range of viewpoints at different heights and a variety of walking paths for enjoying the river. Additionally, it included age-friendly activity spaces to meet the demands of high-quality urban development and the needs of surrounding residents as well.
