Seneca Polytechnic’s new Zero-Carbon Mass Timber, 137,000 sq.ft. athletics, wellness, and student federation at the Newnham Campus in North York, Ontario, Canada will open in 2028. Shaped by the Indigenous principles of the Medicine Wheel, it balances body, mind, heart, and spirit through spaces for sport, wellness, ceremony, and connection. Anchored by a new sports and event venue, the design celebrates Indigenous values, sustainability, and inclusivity, creating a vibrant campus heart rooted in land, learning, and community.
