Salesforce Transit Center is a state-of-the-art multimodal transit station in downtown San Francisco, linking 11 transit systems with future plans for high speed rail. The highly sustainable design includes a 5.4-acre rooftop park, known as Salesforce Park, with a wide variety of Bay Area ecologies, from oak trees to a wetland marsh. A gently undulating façade, created by mathematical physicist Sir Roger Penrose, lines the Transit Center. Four major public artworks are featured throughout the Transit Center, blurring the lines between architecture and art.
