The Masroor Rock-Cut Temple, dating to the 8th century, is a rare monolithic complex of the Nagara style in Himachal Pradesh. Hewn from a single sandstone ridge, its 15 shrines encircle a central tower reminiscent of Kailash at Ellora, featuring intricately carved pillars, ornate doorways, and detailed friezes. Partially damaged by an earthquake, the temple faces northeast, offering a breathtaking view of the snow-capped Dhauladhar Range. Legend holds that the Pandavas constructed it in exile, blending mythology, sacred devotion, and timeless architectural grandeur.
