The mission of the AAP is to advance the appreciation and exposure of quality architectural design worldwide. The American Architecture Prize celebrates creativity and innovation in the fields of architectural design, landscape architecture, and interior design. AAP welcomes submissions from architects all around the world.
The Design of the Year Prize recognizes individuals and teams who have made a substantial contribution to architecture, interior design or landscape design. This prize is awarded for single projects created in the last 5 years.Learn More
The Firm of the Year Award recognizes the excellence of inspiring and innovative architecture, interior, and landscape design firms around the globe and it is awarded based on the companies’ full body of work during their lifetime.Learn More
With entries from all over the globe, the 2016 American Architecture Prize winners represent some of the world's best architects.
Over 200 guests including some of the world’s best architects and designers, attended the first annual American Architecture Prize Winners Cocktail Evening at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City on October 25, 2016. The AAP jury, staff, media representatives and other esteemed guests came together to celebrate an evening of inspirational architecture.
