Dr Jeanne Lee

Ming Chuan University / Associate Dean of School of Design

Dr. Jeanne Lee received her Bachelor of Architecture at Rhode Island School of Design, Master of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, and Ph.D. at National Chiao Tung University. Jeanne is the Associate Dean of the School of Design, and Chair of the Architecture Department at Ming Chuan University. In addition, as the Director of the Integrated VR Research Center, Jeanne combines rural or Aboriginal services with architectural design and new media such as VR, AR, and drones. Influenced by her interest in a variety of fields, she founded Studio LeeJ to focus on research and innovation in arts, design, and architectural design. Jeanne has served on several competitions and exhibitions in various capacities, including IPA & PX3 International Photography Exhibition Curator in 2022, The 10th ACARA (Asian Contest of Architectural Rookie’s Award) Finals Jury in 2021, AYDA (ASIA Young Designer Awards) Jury from 2019 to 2021, IEAGD Taiwan 20 Section Host in 2021, Cross-strait Team 20 competition Jury from 2017 to 2021, Southeast Asia Forum for Architecture Jury in 2021 and more. She is also a member of numerous committees such as Open House Taipei General Consultant and co-organizer from 2019 to 2022, Taipei City Government Department of Urban Development for Intelligent Building Review Committee, Overseas Community Affairs Council Open Data Counseling Committee, and more.
