Dan Howarth

Dan Howarth is a British architecture, design and fashion writer and editor based in New York, where he works as US editor for Dezeen – the world’s most influential online architecture and design magazine.

Dan joined Dezeen in 2012, where he was design editor and deputy editor at the company’s London headquarters before relocating to its recently formed satellite office in New York.

In 2015, Dan was shortlisted for PPA Writer of the Year and PPA Digital Writer of the Year awards. He has also written for publications including The Independent, Farfetch and Cultured.

Before his career in journalism, Dan Howarth trained as an architect at Newcastle University. He then worked for KSR Architects in Shenzhen, China, where he contributed to projects across Asia.
